Ilashe has no public beach, so an event here is genuinely private — no passers-by, no other party at the far end of the sand, nobody wandering through your photographs. The house, the pool and the beach are yours for the booking, for up to 50 guests.
Birthdays & anniversaries
The pool, the terrace and the long table. Bring your own DJ and your own cake — there is no restriction on music and no hour we ask you to stop.
Celebrations & retreats
Corporate offsites, team retreats and group weekends. The whole property, without the interruptions that make an offsite feel like a normal week.
Honeymoons
Three bedrooms and a beach, and nobody else booked in. The quietest thing we offer, and the easiest to arrange.
Photo & video shoots
A private beach means no crowd control and no strangers in frame. Charged by the hour, and the property is closed to everyone else while you work.

We are a venue rather than a full-service events company, and it is worth being clear about where the line sits.

You bring the planner
We do not supply event equipment — no staging, seating hire, sound or lighting. Bring your own planner and suppliers, or ask our admin team to arrange one for you.

A supervisor on site
A facility supervisor is here throughout, looking after the property and pointing your suppliers in the right direction.

Your caterer, no surcharge
Bring your own chef or caterer at no extra cost, use the kitchen yourselves, or ask our admin team about a chef or a set menu.

The boat is the long pole
Fifty guests need more than one crossing. We book the boats and stagger the departures — but bear in mind they do not run late at night, so the return needs planning.
Event questions
How many guests can you take?
Up to 50 for a day event, including weddings. Overnight, the house sleeps 6 across three en-suite bedrooms — so most guests come for the day and go back on the boat.
What does an event cost?
The venue is charged at the day or overnight rate on the packages page, with the boats priced separately from ₦750,000. Photo and video shoots are charged at ₦500,000 per hour. Send us your date and numbers and we will price the whole thing.
Can we visit before booking?
Yes, and inspections are free ahead of an event booking. Message us and we will arrange a day to bring you across.
Do you provide tables, chairs, sound or lighting?
No. We are the venue — the house, the pool, the beach and a supervisor on the day. Bring your own event planner and suppliers, or ask our admin team to arrange a planner for you.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes, at no additional charge. You can also use the kitchen yourselves, request a chef, or book a set menu through our admin team. Food is not included in any rate.
Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes, and there is no corkage. The bar is not stocked as standard — if you would like it stocked, ask us and we will quote it.
Is there a limit on music?
No curfew and no restriction. Bring the DJ you want.
How do 50 guests get across?
We book the boats and stagger the crossings so everyone lands inside the same window. Boats do not run late at night, so we agree the return timing with you well before the day.
How far ahead should we book?
A month ahead for ordinary dates, and two months for holiday periods. Those are the windows that guarantee the date.
What if the weather stops the boats?
If the crossing cannot run, we can bring your party in by road for a separate charge, and your boat transfer fee is refunded.
