The House

Two floors,one beach.

The whole house is yours for the booking — all three bedrooms, the pool, the terrace and the stretch of sand in front of it. Nobody is shown to a room next door, because there is no next door.

All three bedrooms are en-suite and air-conditioned, with a freestanding tub set into the room itself rather than hidden behind a door. Beds are wide, linen is white, and the art on the walls was chosen rather than ordered by the metre.

Air conditioning runs through the night, on backup power. On an island, that is not a small thing.

Living

Enough sofa for the whole group

The main living room takes a full party without anyone perching on an arm. There is a second lounge with a deep green sofa and a wall of books for whoever has had enough of everyone else, and a bar with stools under the stairs.

Green velvet, full shelves, and the coolest room in the house at two in the afternoon.

Under the stairs. Not stocked as standard and there is no corkage — bring what you want to drink, or ask us to stock it and we will quote.

The kitchen

Yours to cook in, or hand it to your own chef or caterer at no extra charge. There is no chef on site, but our admin team can arrange one, or a set menu.

Outside

Pool, terrace, then sand

The pool sits on a white terrace between the house and the beach — a few steps from one to the other. Teak loungers, wide parasols, and towels with our name on them.

Upstairs there is a long verandah, glassed along one side, which catches the wind all afternoon. It is where most people end up without deciding to.
